Dr Poul Rohleder is a clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. He has over 15 years experience of working in private and public mental health practice. He has a private practice in central London, where he provides individual psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychological consultation to writers and authors. He also provides online psychotherapy sessions.
He is a board member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC), and also a committee member of the BPC Task Group on Sexual and Gender Diversity within Psychoanalysis. He sits on the editorial board of the British Journal of Psychotherapy. He has worked for many years as an academic and has been involved in the training of clinical psychologists and psychodynamic counsellors. He is a visiting lecturer at the Tavistock, and has also taught trainees at the University of Essex, University College London (UCL), the University of East London, and the University of Oxford.
